At some point, you stopped being her.
The bold one.
The curious one.
The creative one who danced like nobody was watching — before the world convinced you everyone was.
But today, I want to ask you something real and raw:
Who were you before they told you who to be?
From a young age, we are taught — directly or silently — to shrink.
To sit still. Be nice. Don’t rock the boat. Make them comfortable. Fit in.
Before long, we’re not living as ourselves…
We’re living as versions of us that won’t upset the room.
But deep inside you — under the layers of survival, expectation, and fear —
she’s still there.
Unfiltered. Unbothered. Untamed.
This isn’t just about self-discovery — it’s about self-return.
Because you were never lost, you were just buried under everything they said you had to be.
You can’t reclaim your voice without going back to where you lost it.
You can’t become your fullest self without remembering the girl who didn’t yet know how to hide.
Today, I want you to ask yourself:
✍️ What did I love before I was told what was acceptable?
✍️ What parts of myself did I silence to stay safe, liked, or loved?
✍️ What would it look like to honor her again?
Coming back to yourself doesn’t require permission.
But just in case you needed someone to say it:
You’re allowed to be her again.
The playful her.
The soft her.
The passionate, bold, expressive, take-up-space, “watch-me” her.
This isn’t about becoming someone new.
It’s about removing what never belonged to you in the first place.
You’re not too late.
You’re not behind.
You’re just on your way home.
In the comments, tell me:
Who were YOU before they told you who to be?
And if you’re ready to reclaim her — say it loud. 💬
“I’m coming back for me.”
